W.A.R. P-51 Mustang
The September issue of Custom Planes has two great articles on the W.A.R P-51 owned by Mike Carrelli, Sr of Ashville, North Carolina.  Mike was kind enough to send me the above photo.   It is great to see a W.A.R. P-51 flying.  Outstanding Mike!
The September issue of Custom Planes has the above photo of Mike's P-51.  It is a Honda Prelude engine rated as 120 Hp. at the prop hub.  The prop drive was built by Ross Aero of Phoenix, AZ.  In the photo you also see a  Cessna 150 air filter fitted to the carb.
Mike sent me this photo of his P-51.  A great shot of the canopy/instrument panel.  You can see yourself in that paint job.
