He advises all interested parties, seeking the most up to date and accurate details related to the original Australian made Rotec R2800 to make direct contact with their Australian based manufacturing facility.

ROTEC RADIAL ENGINES R-2800 SPECIFICATIONS
CONFIGURATION:
4 Stroke seven cylinder radial - 80mm bore/stroke
Compression ratio - 8.5:1
Balanced and Blueprinted
Heavy Duty type roller rockers & Roller lifters, 2 valve p/head
Hemispherical combustion chamber
Direct Drive forced air induction & distribution impeller
3:2 planetary propeller speed reduction unit (PSRU)
Fully machined solid bronze bushings all oil pressure fed
Stainless steel pushrod tubes
Firing order: 1-3-5-7-2-4-6

Main body, cylinder heads, rocker boxes, nose bowl
and rocker gear fully machined from high strength
6061-T6511 duel stress relieved aluminum.
Crankshaft, cylinders, rods fully machined from 4140
High strength alloy steel (chrome molly). Nitride hardened
and ground. All rods are polish finished.
Carburator: 40mm Bing pressure compensating with
manual choke & automatic mixture control
Ignition System: Primary - Rotec Magneto
Secondary - Hall Effect Electronic
2 spark plug (NGK DCPR8E) per cylinder
Lubrication: 8 litre dry sump oil tank, primary and
auxiliary scavenge pumps.
Automotive type spin on filter
Fuel System: Primary mechanical pump, auxillary
electrical pump.
Electrical System: 35 AMP High output alternator
Direct drive, high torque starter
complete with solenoid.
The Rotec R2800 is built in small batch quantities up to twenty at a time,
each engine is hand assembled and tested prior to shipping. All engines
must meet stringent in house quality control prior to release. "We are

Aluminum fabricated 8 litre oil tank, hoses, filter, fittings, and filler cap.
VDO Engine Gauge Package: Add $1750 US*
includes engine instruments and all relevant electrical sender units inc.
Tachometer, Oil pressure gauge, Oil temperature gauge, Cylinder head
temperature gauge, Voltmeter, Exhaust gas temperature gauge EGT, Fuel
pressure gauge. Rotec application manual included.

Superbly hand crafted stainless steel exhaust system. Outlet pipe exit
positioned to your requirement.
